We have talked about this recently but Mercedes Benz have finally released details of the all new C Class model that will be on sale early 2011. Aiming to offer a new look on the C Class – Merc have also looked closely at the efficiency of the model and made some changes. As with any new model Mercedes have altered the front end of the C Class in the way of adding a new improved grille and bumper to include LED running lights that now feature on every car in the world including on the new E Class. Under the metal the new model features improved ratios on the 7G Tronic auto gearbox that should see a 30 odd percent improvement in the MPG figures with the petrol heavy C350 V6 now producing 41.5mpg with only 159g/km emissions. All models now carry the BlueEFFICIENCY badge that the outgoing generation model started to sport in the last few editions such as the C350 CDI. Big brother features heavily on the new model to include high tech lane assistance guidance and a new drowsiness detector to keep an eye on your lane positioning – not sure how this works if your driving generally includes a touch of lane drifting as mine does but I’m sure Mercedes have thought this through hey? For this generation Merc have also upgraded the Navigation system to include a larger screen and improved mapping and directions with Internet browsing capabilities. Available in March prices will start around £25k so give us a call to secure your new order.
